In addition to regular studio multitrack recording and mixdown etc, we also provide the following services.

• ON-LOCATION RECORDING – where we come to you. It is sometimes better to record out of the studio in a livelier acoustical environment eg church or hall. Choirs, brass bands and other large ensembles often prefer this alternative, perhaps as a live concert recording. Sometimes it is easier to move the studio than the performers eg school orchestras.

• REHEARSAL ROOM. The live room can be hired as a rehearsal facility. A 4-channel vocal PA is provided with mike stands and leads.

• EQUIPMENT REPAIRS. We undertake guitar and amplifier repairs on the premises – sometimes useful mid session!

• VINYL/TAPE TO CD. There is a growing demand for treasured recordings, especially old LPs, to be copied onto CD. Thus the original can be put safely away and the copy played on modern turntable–less domestic stereos, eg in the car. We can also copy to and from minidisc if required.

• GUITAR LESSONS – from Mike Robinson ACLCM. Classical or plectrum with an emphasis on developing musicianship and versatility in a wide variety of musical environments (and be prepared, you have to learn to read music!).

• SOUND RECORDING TECHNOLOGY. Hands-On tuition in all aspects of modern recording practise. Contact us for further details.
